Fixing the sync when my Salesforce password has expired
When your Salesforce password expires it stops the syncing between Salesforce and the CommuniGator system.
You will usually receive an error saying your password has expired and you must reset it before attempting any other API operations.
To resolve this you will have to change both your password and security token in Salesforce and then update these credentials in CommuniGator under Admin.
Update your password and security token then save.
To permanently prevent this from occurring again, you have to manually reset your password policy in Salesforce to show that your password 'Never Expires'.
This will fix the issue permanently.
It’s best to set the profile used for CommuniGator API to have the password set to 'Never Expires'. A Saleforce Administrator must do this. Click on this article here to find out more about changing this setting.
